I’m doing a little experiment this year here in 2022 now that I’ve left California and moved to Oklahoma. I’m going to be re-launching my organizing business, Let’s Get You Organized, in a brand new territory and market. I’m in rural Oklahoma but Oklahoma City is the nearest metro area… so I’d like to introduce Let’s Get You Organized OKC!
Before I let you in on all the behind the scenes of creating this brand new biz, here’s a little about me:
-I started my first business in 2011.
-I left the workforce to go full time as an entrepreneur in 2018.
-I hired a team in 2019.
-I wrote a book in 2020 (and hit Amazon Best Seller in 11 categories!).
-I launched & sold an online course in 2021.
-And now in 2022, I’m coaching several women in my 1:1 coaching program, PRO Organizer Bootcamp while also hosting a podcast and fostering an online community in my Facebook group.
SO… what am I doing to create this business from scratch? Let’s dive in!
Day 1 - I dissolved my LLC in the state of California and opened a new one in the state of Oklahoma
Day 2 - I got a new domain and a new professional email address for Let’s Get You Organized OKC
Day 3 - I created a new logo (in my favorite tool, Canva) that feels fun and fresh as I enter this next chapter in business… oh and by the way, I totally recommend Canva Pro!
Day 4 - I reactivated my subscription to HoneyBook for client contracts and invoicing and dusted the cobwebs off my old client contracts… head HERE if you want to try this awesome tool for your own biz and get a free trial plus 20% off!
Day 5 - Tomorrow I’m doing a brand photo shoot here in my brand new home in Oklahoma to get some awesome shots for my website, Google & Yelp listings, and future promotional materials for Next-door, FindMyOrganizer, and Thumbtack
Day 6 - The website should be done and I’m connecting the Google domain I purchased to my Wordpress name servers… I know that sounds tech, but it’s actually really easy… basically it’s just a matter of connecting your host to your domain (ie your www.____.com)
Day 7 - Once the website is live I’ll be going full throttle in claiming my free business listings on Google My Business, Yelp, FindMyOrganizer, and Nextdoor. Head HERE if you want to learn more on how to get your organizing business set up on these platforms for FREE!
